A strong damp smell hit us right at the entrance—definitely not the welcome we expected. The advertised restaurant wasn’t available during our stay, which was a letdown after seeing it promised online. The upstairs room had cobwebs that indicated a lack of thorough housekeeping. the correspondence regarding spa services was unclear, and when we inquired, we found that it was unavailable. Some elements, like the shower type and inconsistent wifi, could definitely use improvement.

What a lovely spot! The building has so much character and the staff were super friendly. We stayed in the suite, which was cozy and spacious. The breakfast in the main building was delicious! Just a heads-up, you need to head out for dinner since they don’t offer evening meals. A tad inconvenient, but it’s worth it for the experience.
